Driving from the UK to Puy L’Eveque
From Calais follow coast road A16 to Boulogne and continue south to Abbeville, then A28 to Rouen. Follow signs for Evreux on A154, then head for Dreux on N154 and then rejoin A154 to Chartres and follow N154 to Orleans. From Orleans it is straightforward, follow A71 to Virezon where the road splits, and follow signs for Limoges and Chateauxroux on the A20. This will take you all the way to Cahors.
Timings are approx. 4 to 5 hours to Orleans, and the same from Orleans to Puy L'Eveque. From Cahors follow signs for Bergerac and Puy L’Eveque on D811 (formerly D 911). This is the most direct route and avoids the catastrophic Paris Peripherique.
On arrival at Puy L’Eveque, find a Rugby practice pitch on your right, shortly after a junction to turn left then immediately right. This will bring you into the town on the lower road and you should pass a supermarket on your left and arrive at a large car park on the right. At the end there is a mini roundabout, first right will see you facing Petite Maison Bleue on the right, and we are the first house before it, with, at the moment, Bright Blue Shutters!
Please park through the open gates into the courtyard which will be found just before you arrive at La Petite Maison Bleue. We will be there to help you once you arrive.
Driving from Toulouse Airport (Blagnac) to Puy L’Eveque
From the airport, you will drive straight onto the Toulouse peripherique and you should follow the signs for Paris and Bordeaux. You take two right turns until you reach a peage (toll) station, where you will need to take a ticket. This should be sign-posted for Paris, Bordeaux, Agen and Montauban. Follow this road for approx. 20 Km until you see a right turn for Paris and Montauban. Just after you leave this turn off you will reach another peage station where you will have to pay the toll, which is normally 2 Euros 20. Follow this road to Montauban where there is another peage station and continue straight to Cahors (centre) turnoff, where you will need to pay another toll normally 2 Euros 90. This should take about an hour and there are some delightful restaurants and boutiques in this our county town.
From Cahors follow the signs for Bergerac and you will see signs for Puy L’Eveque, which is approx. 25 minutes from Cahors. We are located 1st left after the practise rugby pitch as you enter Puy L'Eveque which turns immediately right. It is an awkward junction but if you have got it right you should pass a supermarket on your left and then a car park on your right where you will approach a mini-roundabout. Turn right and you will immediately see Petite Maison Bleue approx. 200 yards on the right.
Please park through the open gates into the courtyard which will be found just before you arrive at La Petite Maison Bleue. We will be there to help you once you arrive.
